Hi guys,
Well it’s Wednesday and all of us here at Gadgets Towers are plodding along through the working week. However this Wednesday is not like all the others, we’re all very excited as finally the three results of the Food Face Plates are in. Yes I know they are ‘slightly’ delayed, but clearly it’s because the Gadgets contestants have been working hard on their entries, and nothing to do with the fact they are hopeless!
First up on the judges panel is Dirk’s plate. As you can see his chosen meal for the nights fine dinning was spaghetti bolognaise.
Ingeniously he used his pasta for the hair. Predictable maybe but he also added some originality to his new found face plate friend and moulded him some attractive spectacles! Now I won’t mention that this little fellow seems to be looking very much like Harry Potter if you ask me! All that was left for Dirk to do was finish his wizard friend off with a saucy beard…

Next up is me. Yay! I decided to rebel and use desert instead of dinner, I mean there’s nothing in the rule book about it having to be a savoury food plate is there!? Plus this gave me an excuse to have a naughty desert after scoffing dinner he he. I had forest fruit strudel with clotted cream ice cream. You’ve got to do deserts right if you’re having one in my opinion, so of course I went all out. With my distinguished desert I had to create a distinguished gentleman. My pastry case was great for his top hat and my ice cream was just right for the goatee beard. To finish it all, the new man in my life had to have a shiny red nose which I made out of the berries! I named him George, after President Washington!

Last but not least is Mandy, and as she only had a few leftovers this was a bit of a challenge for her. The meal to be transformed was roast chicken, cauliflower cheese and herb potatoes. Personally I think this is hilarious, and reminds me of a punk rocker baby. Its chicken strip eyebrows along with its Mohican hair style made out of potatoes I find particularly funny. Mandy then used the rest of her ingredients like the cauliflower cheese for the nose and carried on the punk baby theme with a thin potato beard line!

So there you have it guys, cast your votes. You can do this by adding your vote on our Gadgets Facebook page by commenting on the photo of which face you think is the best (here) or email me at clare@gadgets.co.uk!
Votes close on Friday at 2pm and the winner will be announced on Fridays Blog!
See you Friday!
