It’s the the best day of the week again and I know like me, you are all ready for the weekend!!

This week at Gadgets we’ve all been enjoying the sunshine even if it has been some what inconvenient (you’ll see what I mean..)
 
Monday came and as I’m told everyone was working away like busy little bees while I had the day off, yeay! If only every week I could have the pleasure, I’m sure you’ll all agree there is something special about rolling over and going back to sleep on a Monday morning when the alarm goes off..

Tuesday I was back in the office and ready to get cracking. We had some fun new gadgets to test out and I am always eager to have the first go. However one of the new items was the Twilight Spectrum Umbrella. Being a superstitious kinda girl I was not about to test my fate and put it up inside the office and for once the sun was shining outside so no need for a sparkly umbrella really. So the umbrella has been left hanging round the office this week but never the less I’m sure come next week we will have our old English weather back and I can twinkle my way to work singing in the rain! Hopefully not too soon as I want a sunny weekend!

On Wednesday we were already discussing our weekends. Dirk has a busy military style weekend planning and getting preparing for the Reading festival he’s attending next weekend. Well when I say military precisions plans.. this really means selection of beers to buy, drinking games to conjure up and junk food snacks . Mandy is planning on biking her way around in the sun along with a trip to Whipsnade Zoo. As for me I’m off to a wedding.

Thursday and photography work was on the agenda as I worked my magic on the new Eco Cup which has just arrived. For those of you who haven’t see it yet its a very neat travel cup which you can simply fill with tea or coffee in the morning and be on your way. The cup comes with a special silicone sleeve to make it easy to pick up without burning your fingers, it also looks as trendy as any Starbucks or Costa cup yet this one can be reused rather than end up in a landfill site. Stylish and friendly to the environment, what more could you want!

So Friday is here and the fun is really being added to our day today, the Gadget’s team are being rewarded with a Panini Press. This may sound random to you but you all know how excited I get when it comes to food! The way I see it is there is no point in slaving away in the gym tonight with nothing to work off! Along with all the yummy ingredients for our panini’s were some tasty looking beers. We’ve been told that they’re strictly for photographing purposes however everyone has been dropping hints, surely there no better way to wash our panini’s down with ey?
