Well up I get this morning when I find out that the FA are investigating a possible security leak when the team was staying at the team hotel ahead of their friendly match against Egypt last week.

Apparently someone had recording equipment in place to bug a confidential team meeting which gave details of things such as potential World Cup bonuses! Now as you may or may not know the England team quite often stay at The Grove hotel, which is only just down the road from us in Hertfordshire, but I shall assure you all that despite our vast array of Spy and Security Gadgets that would be perfect for just such an operation, we have had nothing to do with it!

According to what I’ve heard and read, the tape(s) have been offered to various newspapers and magazines, all of whom have turned them down, but these tapes are rumoured to be around 6 hours long, so these bonuses must be pretty complicated!

No doubt the culprit will be revealed in the near future!
