I had my attention drawn to this website this morning.
It’s advertising a Dutch company called Hema, apparently something like their equivalent of Ikea. It really is ingenious, and quite amusing. Don’t take my word for it just click on the first link above, wait for the site to load, sit back and enjoy.
I have also stumbled across this gallery of photos taken of Japanese Paddy Fields. The images are made by strategically growing different colours of rice plants.

Compare the picture above, taken of a paddy field ready to be harvested in its’ entirety, with the photo below of a UK ‘crop circle’ pattern made, apparently so I’ve been advised, using lengths of tubing or wood, and pieces of string of varying lengths, which although highly impressing, renders a portion of the crop not harvestable
