We can now deliver to all British Forces (BFPO) addresses around the world. In many cases when delivering outside the UK we can also
deduct VAT from your order.
BFPO Deliveries inside the European Union
The following countries and territories are considered to be within the EU for VAT purposes:
- Austria
- Belgium
- Cyprus *
- Czech Republic
- Denmark, except the Faroe Islands and Greenland
- Estonia
- Finland
- France, including Monaco
- Germany, except Busingen and the Isle of Heligoland
- Greece
- Hungary
- The Republic of Ireland
- Italy, except the communes of Livigno and Campione d'Italia and the Italian waters of Lake Lugano
- Latvia
- Lithuania
- Luxembourg
- Malta
- The Netherlands
- Poland
- Portugal, including the Azores and Madeira
- Slovakia
- Spain, including the Balearic Islands but excluding Ceuta and Melilla
- Slovenia
- Sweden
We can deduct VAT for deliveries to BFPO addresses in the above countries if the following criteria are satisfied:
- You supply a certificate of entitlement bearing the original signature of the head or acting head of your unit.
- The goods are for official use or personal use but not for commercial use.
- * For Cyprus, the order must be placed by an Official Procurement Agency for the force
BFPO Deliveries outside the European Union
On request, we can supply goods outside the EU and deduct VAT before charging your card. In the comments section of your order please state the following or similar to request this: "This BFPO address is outside the EU, please do not charge VAT on this order."

The above is our understanding of the current legislation regarding VAT and BFPO addresses but please note that ultimately we have to abide by HMRC's rules and may not be able to deduct VAT in certain circumstances.
