The 19 LEDs create a high intensity beam of light that can easily be seen from over a mile away - and its small size means that it fits neatly into pockets, bags or in the glove compartment.
It is one of the first high power flashlights that uses standard alkaline batteries - instead of the expensive lithium batteries some other torches require.
