Isn't it infuriating when the remote control goes missing? Well that is much less likely to happen with the Big Button Remote Control - it is nearly a foot long!
It seems that manufacturers are competing to make the smallest most delicate remotes possible. They may look chic and elegant, but it results in a piece of plastic and metal that is tricky to use unless you have the eyesight of an 8 year old and the dexterity of a brain surgeon. If you have a fantastic home cinema set up, with a big screen, DVD player, and surround sound, seeing what all those fiddly buttons do can be next to impossible in the cinematic gloom.
Designed from the outset simply to be a really good remote control, the Big Button Remote doesn't pretend to be a delicate piece of jewellery. Programmed to be compatible with all the major brands of TV sets, DVD players, satellite and cable receivers and AV amplifiers, it includes all the usual functions (volume, channel etc) plus many of the 'extras' such as Teletext and Fastext. Setting it up is easy, using standard setup codes or the built-in auto code search function.
Those of us whose finger dexterity and eyesight isn't quite so good really appreciate gadgets like this, but if you are always losing your remote or scrabbling around in the dark for the right button, you'll wonder how you managed without it!
