Where geek meets chic! The timeless elegance of the classic metal alarm clock, with the usability of the modern digital LED unit.
Analogue clocks with their delicate spindly little arms are all very elegant and stylish, but can be hopeless at telling the time. When you wake up in the morning do you sometimes have to squint at the clock for ages to work out whether it is 25 past 7 (running late) or 25 to 6 (turn over and go back to sleep)? By the same mark, the ultra reliable LED digital clocks can look absolutely awful in their plastic boxes. Well, here is the best of both worlds! Quartz reliability with LED display precision and the classic mechanical alarm clock look.
The Digibell alarm clock was devised by Dutch designer Elke Van Raamsdonk and runs off the supplied mains adaptor, but if you are in an area prone to power cuts there is a back-up battery, which will maintain the time minus the display for approximately a year (that would be a heck of a power cut). It has all the facilities you would expect from a modern digital clock, quartz precision, digital alarm, and a handy snooze function. It is also seriously cool!
