Once they have registered their gift, they will be sent an ornate certificate illustrating the coat of arms of the surname of their choice. This information is provided by a team of heraldic and genealogical researchers who have researched more than 200,000 different coats of arms.

If the recipient wishes to decipher the coat of arms for their chosen surname, there is a heraldry wall chart enclosed in the gift box which should provide useful information to get them started. This can also be used to help to decipher other coat of arms that the recipient may come across.

If you register online then you will receive your supporter certificate within 10 working days. If you fill out and return your form by post then it is increased to 28 working days from the date Gift Republic receives your form.

How long do I have to register my gift? Your gift code expires 12 months after the date of purchase so you have 12 months in which to register your gift.
