The Flip takes all the hard work out of recording, just press the red button to start shooting footage, and then again to stop. Even moving the videos to your PC is easy and hassle free with no need to install software or drivers as its all self contained within the flip. Simply flip out the USB connecter, and plug in to a free port on your PC. It really is as simple as that! The inbuilt Flip Video program even allows you to upload videos directly to Youtube or AOL.

Powered by 2 AA batteries that give a life of up to 5 hours (depending upon the use pattern) the internal memory of 2GB gives a recording time of 60 minutes of full VGA quality video at 30 fps with a 640 x 480 resolution, and 2x digital zoom. The Flip houses a 1.5" TFT screen which acts as a viewfinder as well as allowing you to play back videos, as well as wide range microphone and speaker.
