Hexbug Nano

We've had an invasion of bugs here at Gadgets Towers! Whilst normally the thought of these multi-limbed beasties is enough to make most of us at least shudder, if not jump up on the nearest chair, in this instance we're more than happy to accommodate them. You see the Bugs we've been infested with are the brilliant Hexbug Nanos. These tiny little robotic bugs are such great fun to watch as they scurry around, crawling, jumping, and even flipping as they go!

Although the Hexbugs don't contain any sensors they will happily bumble and bounce around, navigating obstacles, and even each other, one way or another. Of course like most insects, Hexbugs are happiest, and indeed at their most hilarious, when they are grouped together in a swarm. Just watching the sheer random and chaotic nature of these little robotic critters is enough to keep anyone entertained for hours on end. Hexbugs come in a range of different colours, and each reportedly has its own behaviours and quirks, although we will need to study them further to explore this concept in more depth.

Whilst the Hexbugs are happy vibrating their way around any flat surface, they are of course happiest in their own habitat, and so you have the option of a Hexbug Starter Pack, or a Hexbug Habitat. The starter pack comes with one hexagonal shaped pool, and two curved tunnel pieces to give the included rare Hexbug it's own contained environment. If you really want to see the mayhem, confusion, and intriguing chaos that a host of Hexbugs can create then you have to go for the Habitat Pack. Containing 3 pools, various connecting pieces, and two rare Hexbugs this is the best way to observe these robotic bugs at their most random.

One Hexbug makes a charming, if slightly deranged desktop companion, but a whole swarm of them will leave a trail of devastation in their wake. Not be destroying crops or anything like that of course, but merely by leaving those in their wake utterly fascinated and entertained by their mannerisms and behaviours.
