Molkky Finnish Throwing Game

Sick of skittles and bored of bowls? Well why not try out Molkky, the fabulous Finnish throwing game. Easy to pick up, but requiring a deceptive amount of skill this is a game that all the family can play.

Molkky is a game for 2 or more people, and the aim is to be the first to score exactly 50 points. All you need is an open flat area outside at least 16-17 feet long, and about 6 feet wide. Simply set up the 12 pins as shown in the included instruction booklet. The players then take it in turns to stand 10-13 feet away and throw the Molkky underarm at the pins. If you knock just one pin over you score the number of that pin, so the number 3 pin would be worth 3 points. If you knock over more than one pin you score one point for each pin knocked over, so if you knocked down five pins, you would score five points. The first player to reach exactly 50 points is declared the winner, but be careful because if your score goes over 50 points it is reset to 25.
