My Butterfly

There are few creatures that are more delicate and beautiful than the Butterfly, each one like a unique work of art, so wouldn't it be great if you could keep one in a jar to look at and admire whenever you wanted? Of course this wouldn't be possible with a real butterfly, their lifespan being notoriously short, and probably even shorter if we were to try and catch them in a jar! Thankfully the My Butterfly Collection is here to change that.

At first glance, and maybe even second, third, and fourth glance these glass jars may indeed appear to contain a real butterfly, trapped and helplessly fluttering around the jar, but it's actually not a real butterfly at all, merely some incredibly clever electronics. We don't know exactly how it works, merely that you 'wake up' your butterfly by tapping gently on the lid of the jar, causing it to flutter and flex its wings in an incredibly realistic fashion. In fact the My Butterfly Collection is so realistic that if you have any friends particularly against capturing any living creature is glass jars that you should advise them its not real before they get close enough to smash the jar and 'release' the butterfly!

The Butterfly Collection Jars come with batteries pre-installed so they are ready to flap and flutter straight away, amazing friends and family with their random realism. The instructions are simple to follow, merely tapping gently on the lid a certain number of times will have the butterfly behaving in a certain way. There are four different butterflies to collect, each coming with its own hand tag giving information about the species and butterflies in general.
