Taking the art of rocking out to a new level located somewhere between air guitar, and fully fledged axe-smith the Paper Jamz make it easier than ever before to look and sound the part of a true rock legend.

Paper Jamz are the result of taking a real guitar, removing the strings, replacing them with funky Active Graphics Electronics technology, and gently rolling over the whole thing in a steamroller to make it cartoon comedy flat! These Guitars really are pick up and play, unlike their real six string cousins, so unless you want to become a true super group we're pretty sure you won't need Eddie Van Halen on lead guitar! Each Paper Jamz Guitar comes with three pre-loaded rock tracks, from modern day classics such as "Woman" (Wolfmother) or "Rockstar" (Nickleback), to the instantly recognisable songs of legend such as "Smoke On The Water" (Deep Purple) and "You Really Got Me" (The Kinks).

 

 

Each has three different modes of play; fail-safe, rhythm, and freestyle. Fail-safe mode will likely be your first port of call as you strum along indiscriminately to one of the three pre-loaded tracks, an ideal mode for getting used to really looking the part of a rock star, perfecting your strut, and pout. Rhythm mode has you strumming along in time with a pre-loaded track, giving you a taste of rhythm and timing.

Freestyle is where it gets really interesting though. This is where you can put together your best rock star posing and posturing, and shred out some riffs that the likes of Hendrix and Slash would be proud of. In Freestyle mode you can utilise the fret board in open E tuning. Let your fingers spider-walk their way along the fret board to hit the various notes up and down the scale. One finger on the fret board gives a major, two does minor, and three fingers does a 7th. The ingenious thing about the Paper Jamz is that they let you do all of this without strings! That's right, the fret board of these wafer thin wonders houses Active Graphics Electronics. Basically this means that you can use the touch sensitive fret board to create some truly magnificent riffs, running your fingers up and down its length without needing to worry about strings, because there aren't any!

Paper Jamz come in five different classic designs such as the Gibson Flying 'V', and Fender Stratocaster, with three other designs. Each includes 3 pre-loaded rock anthems from heavyweights of the genre such as Steppenwolf, Deep Purple, REM, The Kinks, Blue Oyster Cult, and more besides. Paper Jamz are great just as a bit of fun, or maybe a prelude to a real six string bought at the five and dime.
