The Solar System Mobile simply fixes to a ceiling (fixing kit supplied) and is battery powered so needs no tricky mains cables. As you would expect, the illuminated sun is at the centre, surrounded by all nine planets gracefully orbiting around it. Simply switch on, lie back and listen as the accompanying audio CD takes you on a fantastic journey around the solar system. The set comes complete with a remote control which also has a cool built-in light pointer which can project meteors and comets onto your ceiling!

The 1.06 metre solar system is undoubtedly educational, but watching the planets moving around is almost hypnotically soothing, and will send would-be astronomers of any age drifting off to sleep. Fantastic to chill out to with some ambient sounds!
