This is now a thing of the past thanks to the DynaSolar LED torch. This handy little light source is both a solar powered torch and a dynamo powered wind-up torch in one. Left in the sun or under a light indoors it will charge itself through its solar panel, or a quick wind of the handle will provide charge through the dynamo. We have had numerous torches over the years and must have spent a lot of money on batteries and bulbs which have failed us when we needed them. The dual powered torch eliminates the waste and is always available.
